Trojan Horse Memorial, Athlone, Cape Town
The Trojan Horse Memorial was unveiled in 2005 in Athlone in remembrance of the people who were killed by security police in October 1985, as part of quelling anti-apartheid protests. Hidden in a railway truck, they opened fire, killing three young men.
